Utah lies in the crossroads of the American West and is the center of transportation for the airway, railways and roadways. Utah is about the same size as Korea. Utah is rich in natural resources such as minerals and agricultural products. Utah has many industrial complexes which are home to many high tech industrial enterprises ranging from electronics to aviation. The capital, Salt Lake City, was ranked as the number one city in America by Fortune magazine in the October 1990 issue. Utah has a very rich history and an even brighter future. While maintaining the spirit of the Old American West, Utah is at the forefront of the upcoming 21st century. There are 5 national parks in Utah which makes Utah known throughout the world as a tourist attraction. Utah also held the 2002 Winter Olympics.
